In 2009, in the second week of January — I opened a Facebook account. I am someone who does not like a lot of change in my personal life and I was reluctant to move away from the now defunct and at that time the de-facto social media platform- Orkut. Most of my friends had already made that move and all the group conversations and catching up with old time buddies was happening on Facebook.. and that is when I fell in the trap, slowly consuming the poison like a billion people on this planet.

RBI first issued warning bell against cryptocurrencies (referred to as virtual or decentralized digital currencies) back in Dec’ 2013 .
